Ncaa Texas Tech
Holding seems to be a developing "punishment" at all levels of football. Did you know that the rules in the NFL, college and high school game not changed been to maintain defensive linemen so? This applies doubly for youth football, where 48 of the 50 states NFHS rules us as Texas and Massachusetts to use NCAA rules.
Some unethical coaches teach their defensive linemen to grab the legs to keep the offensive linemen to it by train. They will also tell their children to do to wedges to stop. This is a very clear violation of the rules, that's what NFHS says about it:

Many of these unethical coaches use the excuse that the rules have developed to help the offensive linemen now their hands etc etc. The "Argument" is just an attempt to change the subject and a straw man, it has nothing to do with defensive holding. Another "argument" is the rare official call with defensive holding, very hard to see and easy way. Another reason is because the penalty is called so rare that to authorize the officials of the tactic. So guys, like said is most shoplifters never caught, so it is ok to shoplift. I know of a High School Hall of Fame coach who actually said this to me, I have it in Text. It is amazing to me what some people to justify their blatantly illegal tactics.
Defensive linemen clearly have no right to fight or take the offensive linemen legs, they never have and they have no right to do it today. There is a 15-yard penalty and the referee in our league called punishment. If your team draws and wedges, you must be aware of this rule see, for violations and alert the officer if you see it happening.
While none of us perfect, we all make mistakes on purpose to teach something you know is illegal to impress in the youth seems to fly in the face of what most of us try, to achieve in youth football. To continue to use the tactic, if you know it is illegal is something I not only understand completely. The attempt to teach most of us Lessons of life as part of the game. One of the universal lessons is to give many of us try, if you work hard and play by the rules in the long term good things for They happen. If you teach children are deliberately and knowingly deceive, a unfair advantage, you gain teaching?
How can on the one hand, our Instruct mouth we talk about honesty, integrity and honor, and on the other side of our mouth, we on a player, how to cheat? Do not you see the children, the hypocrisy? Kids pick up on these days that seem now, in fact they are going to look out of their way. What do you think they think of you when they see your contradictions? If they Trust them? If they do, have, what kind of sociopath you created?

Coaches unwilling or unable to comply with the principles of the Code of Ethics have no place to work. In the teaching of football, must the coach know that there are certain rules to establish common standards for determining a winner and a loser offer. All attempts to circumvent these rules have no place in the world of football.
What do you want to teach as a youth football coach? What are life lessons you teach to your children? As You will remain in memory from your children? The good guy who cared enough to teach them the game, or a guy who corners cut in order to gain an unfair advantage?
